Typical day

A typical day

We may be able to provide a driver to collect you from your home at about 9.45am and will give any help necessary. On arrival at the Centre, you will be greeted and made comfortable. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be served.

The mornings are spent informally with the opportunity to join in a game or quiz, chat, knit or read the newspaper.

At 11.45am sherry or a non-alcoholic drink will be served and this is followed by a two-course freshly cooked hot meal. Special diets are accommodated.

After a quiet period, various stimulating activities or entertainment take place. At 2.30pm a cup of tea is served before going home.
